Buttericks is an independent education advisory practice providing senior-level advice on complex people matters, sensitive employment issues and organisational change.The practice works with schools, academy trusts, colleges and education leaders when situations require independent judgement, discretion and experienced intervention.Founded by Mark Butterick, Buttericks combines over 20 years’ senior HR and transformation experience with a deep understanding of education environments. This includes ten years working in higher education across the Universities of Bradford, Loughborough and Leeds, alongside advising organisations across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors on workforce strategy, employment relations, organisational change and leadership challenges.Mark Butterick has operated at executive and governance level, advising senior teams and boards on complex workforce decisions, including organisational restructuring, investigations, employment disputes, workforce risk and transformation programmes.His experience includes founding and leading a successful HR advisory practice supporting over 100 organisations, including complex education matters such as an independent investigation for an academy trust. He has also led major transformation programmes and designed and delivered postgraduate HR and management consulting programmes within higher education.Buttericks brings together senior HR expertise, academic insight and independent judgement to help education leaders navigate decisions where the operational, financial or reputational consequences are significant.
